Tour de HighlandGriffith Bicycle Ride

$5.00 PER PERSON (12 AND UNDER)
Ride Rain or Shine! Check-in begins at 10:30 am at the Wicker Park Pavilion.
The bike ride will start promptly at 11am and is expected to last at least 60 minutes. Cookout lunch supplied by Texas Corral will begin after riders return. Safety for all participants is the prime concern for everyone. Obey all traffic laws and regulations because the bike route is not a closed course. The course will be open to vehicle traffic on the roads. We suggest using bike helmets, water bottles and wearing light clothing for general visibility and safety. Be safe—Be seen! Get your bike in perfect mechanical working order. We will provide a well-marked route, but it is up to YOU to obey the rules of the road. For your own safety as well as the safety of the cyclists, remember to stop at stop signs, yield right of way and stay to the right (single file). Highland and Griffith Police will be available to assist cyclists crossing major intersections. After the Ride Lunch provided by Texas Corral and music will be provided at the registration site. (You must be wearing the wrist band to receive food). Friends and families may join you for lunch for $5 (they will be given a wrist band upon payment).
